Microsoft Will Live Stream The Launch Of Windows 8.1 Update 1

BUILD 2014 is right around the corner, and while tickets for the event are more or less sold out, fans and users that want in on the action have a way to do so later this week.

Microsoft have just announced that, similar to how they do it every year, they will be streaming the event live on two of its websites. This should make it easy for anyone with an Internet connection to tune in and witness the launch of the next version of Window.

Here is the announcement rolled out earlier today:

“For those that don’t know Build, this is the major event that Microsoft is celebrating for and with Developers Worldwide, an event where you can find out what’s new in Windows, Windows Phone, Azure, and other technologies. An event plenty of 100, 200, 300 and 400 level sessions where you can develop your skills and improve as a developer.”

Short and sweet — the latter more so, as interest in Windows 8.1 Update 1 is high.

Interested parties can tune in to and to watch the unveiling of the next version of Windows, along with the presentation of Windows Phone 8.1, and all that good stuff. Developers, in particular, can get the lowdown new technologies thanks to these streams.

Mark your calendars, then, folks, for April 2.
