Toshiba Satellite Click 2 Pro Is A Worthy Surface Pro 3 Alternative

Not many tablets, or rather Windows powered tablets, have been able to duke it out with the Surface Pro 3 in terms of build quality, features and performance, but that is not stopping vendors from trying.

A number of 2-in-1 convertibles have recently been announced by established vendors, and leading the charge is Toshiba with its Satellite Click 2 Pro. The device was sight at the FCC back in May, which made an arrival on the US market a forgone conclusion.

Now some two months later we have a bunch of details to go by.

A 13.3-inch screen with a full HD (1920 x 1200) resolution keeps the visuals nice and smooth. The IPS display supports 10-point touch to go with its 166ppi density.

Under the hood you will find a dual-core Intel Core i5-4210U processor that runs at the normal frequency of 1.7GHz, with a Turbo Boost ceiling of 2.7GHz. An Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD Graphics 4000 chip handles visual duties.

Some other details are yet to be confirmed, but you will get three USB ports, HDMI, Bluetooth 3.0 Low Energy, a microSD card slot and 802.11 b/g/n WiFi capabilities in a sleek and slim design.

Street price is estimated at $999, which is pretty decent all thing considered.
