New Nokia Lumia 830 Rumors Point To Three Different Models

There is no shortage of Nokia Lumia 830 rumors right now, and perhaps the more delightful of these are that Microsoft seems to be bringing its PureView camera technology to midrange.

Even the invites Redmond sent for the September 4 event hint at amazing camera capabilities for the new device. Following these leaked images, some more details about the upcoming smartphone have now emerged.

It appears that Microsoft is planning to include two different type of cameras on this handsets, and as a result there will be three different Lumia 830 models released.

Two of these will come with a 13 megapixel camera, while one will feature a 20 megapixel option. The camera is said to be similar to the one that is available on the Lumia 1020 — albeit it will not be nearly as bulky, and will, obviously, pack a smaller sensor.

If true, this is a great move from the company, expanding the horizons of its impressive PureView imaging technology to the midrange segment of the market.

Further reports point to either a 4.5 inch or 5 inch touchscreen display, 1GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage capacity and a microSD card slot for expansion purposes. The Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 operating system will be available out of the box.

The phone is expected to feature a design similar to the Nokia Lumia 930 and Lumia Icon, with a metallic frame wrapped around its side.

Confirmation, early next month, then. Hopefully.
