Dropbox Integration Comes To Office For Android

Office users on Android have a new update in store for then. Microsoft has integrated Dropbox in its Office for Android suite of mobile apps, which should enhance productivity for users.

This new version now supports both OneDrive and Dropbox.

Microsoft has increased collaboration, working together with Dropbox to bring new features (and hopefully a Windows Phone app) for users of its productivity suite. And now the company has pushed a fresh update.

Office users can now take advantage of this service, and add Dropbox as an online storage location, while accessing their Dropbox documents directly via Office.

Another new enhancements for Android users is that they can now share files directly through OneDrive and OneDrive for Business. This is done by sharing the links for these files vie email — the new “email as link” button can be put to good use here.

The recipient will receive a unique OneDrive link that will allow them to view or edit that particular file, meaning they can move free of the hurdles of email attachments.

You can read up on both these new features on the official Office blog here.
