More Microsoft Windows Phone these days usually means more affordable Windows Phones, as the company continues its policy of launching budget handsets in emerging markets.
And some five new low-end Lumia devices have just been spotted at the FCC.
According to details the Redmond based technology giant is preparing five different low-end devices, though interestingly, they all seem to be versions of the same phone that probably will hit the store shelves in the coming months.
The models numbers are RM-1068, RM-1070, RM-1071, RM-1032, and RM-1034, by the way.
And while the full specifications are missing, sources indicate that these are likely to come with 4-inch screen sizes with measurements of 118.1 x 64.7 mm — sounds awfully similar to the Lumia 530 with its measurements of 119.7 x 62.3 mm.
This particular device is off to a great start in several regions around the globe, and Microsoft probably wants to keep a good thing going, even if many want the company to focus on flagship smartphones as well as these budget offerings. But hey, whatever sells, right?
Now to round up the full report, all these models lack LTE capabilities.
And while three of them only work with a single SIM card, RM-1068 and RM-1032 do offer dual SIM capabilities. But overall, things are very unclear right now, on this particular front.
