Radio.com Windows Phone App

Some refreshing news for the platform. Amid reports of major developers pulling their Windows Phone apps, the official Radio.com Windows Phone app is now in the zone.

Vevo recently became the latest played to leave the party.

But CBS finally decided to bring their solution to the platform, after registering millions of downloads on both Google Play and the App Store. The free app provides users with access to 300 live broadcasts, as well as HD and digital-only stations from CBS Radio.

It also allows them to see the song that are playing live, along with real time album art that is displayed on the home screen.

Local news and sports from the cities across the country are also provided.

And the search function easily allows the ability to search the entire station catalog. The Now Playing screen also includes a bunch of handy features, including the ability to check for artist bios, photos and more. There’s even an option to set a sleep timer.

The Radio.com app is only available for users in the United States, and is compatible with handsets running Windows Phone 8 and up.

You can grab it for free from the Windows Phone Store here.
