What’s better than diving in to do a 30 Days series? Diving in to two different experiences simultaneously and writing TWO 30 Days series. Today is the first post in the new 30 Days with Windows Phone 8.1 series.

As I pointed out when I announced the two 30 Days series, I will be immersing myself in both the Surface Pro 3, and the Windows Phone 8.1 platform at the same time, and alternating posts between the two series. One of the advantages of this approach is that it will also let me play around with how the two work together–explore how Windows 8.1 integrates with Windows Phone 8.1, and examine whether or not that symbiotic relationship has any real-world value.

Like the 30 Days with Surface Pro 3 series, the actual posts will be on TechSpective.net, but I will also post excerpts and highlights here on EyeOnWindows each day. Also like the 30 Days with Surface Pro 3 series, I expect comments, feedback, and participation. The experience will have value for me regardless, but I want you to be able to experience Windows Phone 8.1 through me as well. Tell me what you like, and what you don’t like, and let me know your questions, or if you want me to test or explore specific features or capabilities. The more we work together on the series, the more valuable it will be for everyone.

Nice write-up. I am more anxious to hear about the phone as I already know the surface is at least a decent option. I am really curious how 30 days with the phone will mold your opinion.

Very cool. Do you have expectations going in? If so, which product do you expect to like and enjoy more?
