Adobe has a rather blossoming relationship with Microsoft, in how the company releases updates for its software on Surface tablets, and collaborates with Redmond on such matters.

So it was rather surprising that a version of Photoshop Express was not available for the Windows Phone platform. More so because iOS, Android users have had access to this app for four years now, and it even landed on Windows 8 last year.

That has changed now, as Adobe Photoshop Express for Windows Phone has been released for download on the Windows Phone Store.

The free app makes it easy breezy for users to edit their photos while on the move.

It comes with all sorts of basic (yet necessary) features like Crop, Straighten, Rotate and Flip. And like other available counterparts, this build of the app also removes red eyes, while fixing exposure and clarity of images and photos.

Adobe have also bundled in 20 filters — with effects similar to those on Instagram.

Speaking of which, edited images can be shared to Instagram and Facebook instantly via the built in sharing options, while various in-app purchases enable users to enhance the functionality and add in chosen new features.

Before you do that, though, you might want to grab Adobe Photoshop Express from here.
