Microsoft has put up some absolute gaming gems on the Windows Store that its gaming department developed in-house. You get the full rainbow here, from titles like Halo to casual ones that the whole family can enjoy.

One game released back in summer was Endless Skater — an exciting skating title that is made available free of charge to Windows 8 and Windows RT users.

A look at the official description:

“Flip, Grab, and Grind your way to the longest runs and highest scores in Endless Skater! Air it out on ramps, across rails and even over the rooftops! Choose from five of the top professionals to ever set foot on a skateboard and jump into endless levels that challenge you to get as far as you can, or score as many points as you can.

Discover dozens of tricks and combos – including secret, hidden signature tricks. Go for huge air, long grinds, and big flips! But watch out … you can also take some huge spills!”

As the name implies, the game offers an endless level design in two environments — a school and rooftops. More than 25 different trick combinations are available for players to master, along with upgradeable stats and hidden signature moves.

The game integrates Xbox Live support for achievements, leaderboards and Gamerscore. The company recently upgraded the game this week, though details on what changed are not available.
