This one is for the gamer in you. GameTracker allows you to track upcoming (as well as released) games on a number of platforms, from the good old PC to current generation gaming consoles like the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U.
You get to check out images, news, and developer information about the games you choose. Titles can also be added as favorites, a very helpful option as far as management is concerned. The official description states it best:
“GameTracker is the best way to keep track of upcoming games on your Windows device. You can browse upcoming releases and the ones that are most anticipated by the community, add them to your favorites, pre-order them and easily see their latest news.”
The app, nevertheless, comes short on a few features, most notably the lack of support for handheld titles like the Nintendo 3DS and PSVita games. Another surprisingly glaring omission is video content — stuff like game trailers and gameplay videos are nowhere to be seen.
Still, the free app is very well designed, and supports all three processor types (x86, x64 and ARM), and here’s hoping that the developer builds up the feature set from here on and add in new things.
