For those getting overly excited about the Windows 8 tablets and Metro styled applications, a sobering reality.

Analysts are saying that Apple may not released the much awaited Ipad 3 this year.

The reason why though is very telling.. they don’t really need to.

J.P. Morgan analyst Mark Moskowitz had the following to say:

“We do not think Apple needs to be in a rush to unveil a new iPad. … The other tablet entrants have stumbled so far, and that trend-line could persist deep into 2012. Motorola Mobility and Research In Motion have been recent disappointments, and we expect more stumbles from others.”

If you read this blog, you know how I feel about analysts and their predictions but this time I actually agree.

For now, there’s really nothing out there that looks like it could kill the Ipad 2.
