Well it’s always exciting to see exactly what Apple have up their sleeve and to see how it may or may not affect Windows 8.

New Messaging service for IOS users across all platforms
Supports iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Lets you send text messages, photos, videos, contacts, and even do group messaging.
Can also get delivery receipts, read receipts, and real-time typing notification.
New features from Game Center

Also, software updates are OTA and those updates are delta updates, so again you’re just getting what’s changed — which should put less of a hurting on your newly capped data plan.

Lots more features for Lion
Go into AirDrop and you’ll see all the other users who are running AirDrop. To share a file, just drop a file onto the user in question. They then receive a notification and, hey presto, file exchanged.
The App Store is now built-in to Lion, and they’re adding in-app purchases, push notifications, and there’s a built-in sandboxing mode to boost security.
