AT&T Will Launch The Nokia Lumia 1520 In Black, Red And White

So then, we finally have some movement for those in the US that are looking to buy Nokia’s first phablet. Nokia unveiled the Lumia 1520 early last week, but not all details regarding availability were out after the launch event.

Now though, Nokia and AT&T have confirmed that they will be bringing the Lumia 1520 in the United States within the next few weeks.

The handset’s exact release data and pricing options are still under wraps, however.

What we do know is that the AT&T Nokia Lumia 1520 will not support wireless charging by default, meaning customers that want this feature will have to purchase a special case that would offer compatibility with the Powermat chargers.

This is because of AT&T’s relationship with Powermat — the Lumia 1520 exclusive to the wireless carrier will not come with the unique Qi wireless charging technology, and instead will only offer Powermat compatibility right out of the box.

And for those of you that are planning to get your hands on the phablet, evleaks has additional details regarding the color choices. The Lumia 1520 will be available in black, red and white at the network.

However, while these three colors are offered at launch, there is a possibility that additional color options may be available later on.

Expect more details on the Lumia 1520 at AT&T in the coming days.
