There is actually a fair amount of excitement about the upcoming Windows Phone 8 Operating System, also known as Apollo.

A guy named Yanko Andreev’s has created a rendition of a possible futuristic Windows Phone.

This version sports a 5″ display at 1280 x 800 resolution.

In his concept, he sees a future where the Apollo Phones will come with a lock screen that allows you to select the clock size and position that suits you.

In addition, the concept has many notifications and live tiles that take full advantage of the larger screen size.

I think that concept looks pretty damn good…

    This is just the Win8 start screen with tiles having a few buttons, all displayed on a phone. Don’t get me wrong, I think these button on tiles are great. Maybe this convenience part of it might give WP8 an advantage. But do you know the unfortunate truth? MS is most likely not going to have this feature.
