Computex 2012 – Asus think your laptop should have 2 screens

At the Computex 2012 conference in Taipei, Asus just rolled out the Asus Taichi laptop.

  • Dual twin displays
  • Choice of 11.6 or 13.3 inch screens
  • Ivy Bridge Core i7 processor
  • 4 gig of ram
  • SSD storage
  • 5 megapixel rear camera
  • HD front facing camera
  • NFC enabled
  • Supports Windows 8

Here’s a look at some of the images from Taipei:

Here’s some video from The Verge

I’m not exactly sure what the heck they are thinking about with the two screens.

Can you think of any test cases?

Cool!  That’s one way to solve the keyboard-on-the-bottom problem that other hybrid tablets have when you flip the screen down.  And with those specs I’d definitely get one of these for both work and play.
