Terry Myerson of Microsoft revealed a couple of really interesting features coming for Insiders to take for a spin in the next Windows 10 Insider build that the company will release.

The highlight being Sets and Timeline.

Many people were expecting the software titan to release a build on the same day as this announcement, as has happened a few times in the past with such high profile unveils. But that was not to be the case.

The verdict is that there will not be new build until the end of the week.

Friday, at the earliest:

Straight from the horse’s mouth.

Disappointing news, but as revealed by Dona Sarkar, the head of the Windows Insider Program, there is hope yet for something to launch tomorrow. This will give Insiders something to play with over the weekend, and take these new features out for a test drive.

At the very least, there will be a lot of anticipation from the community, particularly for Windows Timeline, which is shaping up to be a very handy addition to the OS.

Come on, Friday!
