Normally at this price, you rarely get an all-round feature-rich notebook. But Toshiba seems to have done its homework in making available the Satellite P55-A5312 for a very affordable price.

The affordable laptop comes with better than average hardware specifications, offering both productivity and quality entertainment on the go. This particular Satellite comes with a 15.6-inch full HD crystal clear display that runs at a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels.

Speaking of underlying chip architecture, this notebook is powered by a fourth-generation Intel Haswell Core i5-4200U processor that is paired with 6GB of RAM. Obviously, the Intel Turbo Boost Technology comes into play at demand to offer higher performance whenever needed.

A 750GB hard drive is available for you to store the world.

But the feature list does not end here — you get Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) technology that can be used to stream content from the laptop to a compatible HDTV. Toshiba has also thrown in DTE Sound technology for a virtual surround sound experience.

And thanks to the Dragon voice command, you can search the web or update their social accounts by issuing verbal commands. Those of you that prefer the traditional way of typing will find the backlit keyboard an absolute joy to use, even in dim lighting.

The battery is perhaps the only run of the mill stuff in this Satellite. It comes in at a reported 5 hours and 58 minutes, which while may not be ideal for hardware of this type, is serviceable.

The Toshiba Satellite P55-A5312 normally retails for $630, but Best Buy is currently offering the Windows 8 powered laptop at an even sweeter price of $530.
