Free Windows 8 Infographic for you to share

We have been getting a lot of questions about Windows 8.

People are asking about the new features and the new look and feel etc etc.

In response to that we put together our Windows 8 overview page. This page summarized all the features that we know about and put them in one place.

We also continue to update that page.

We wanted to go above and beyond that and we have put together an embeddable graphic for you to use.

Please share this graphic and page with your friends, colleagues and coworkers who want to know more about Windows 8.

Hi Onuora, Like sad-onion I too wish to express my gratitude for keeping us updated on the upcoming release of Windows 8.  I know it must take a lot of time to research and then condense these highlights yet not make it so technical that you speak over our heads.  Many thanks, mdhunter2, Maryland-USA

    Dear Onuora,

Last year, on the Windows News you’re having a great time on nominating for a new CEO for Microsoft, I hope everything turn to be a great success. Now at my desk I have your Free Windows 8 infographic and I still don’t know what to do with it, I’ll take good care on the subject since these are strange to my knowledge. The countdown for the launching of your Windows 8 release is now set on this year where most of the Windows consumers are eager to see a new look on Windows series and what have been achieves so far from your country. I’m giving you the best wishes for the effort on your team for now and the future. Still on my dell inspiron 8600 lay a series of Windows Program  Windows XP SP3 Home Edition, Windows Vista Starter, and Windows 7 Ultimate on a single Boot Manager and still showing a perfect peace and harmony. Thank you.

Metro interface is not ‘New’ – i wish more people would credit Windows Phone 7 for pioneering it when they talk about Windows 8…

    • Onuora Amobi

Damn good point.. more people (myself included) should reference that fact…

    • Andréi

ye.; you’re right .. but i think for PC it is something new ..

    • Oliver Mills

I think Microsoft started working on Windows 8 at around the same time as they did on Windows Phone 7 though (~3 years ago). But yeah, Windows Phone deserves a lot more recognition.

Time to update a few things I think! First off, release date = 26th October 2012 🙂
