Can you tell it’s a slow news day?

Saw this new interesting concept from Google called Project Glass.

It’s an interesting concept – using a heads up display in glasses to help you interact with information throughout your day.

A quote:

A group of us from Google[x] started Project Glass to build this kind of technology, one that helps you explore and share your world, putting you back in the moment. We’re sharing this information now because we want to start a conversation and learn from your valuable input. So we took a few design photos to show what this technology could look like and created a video to demonstrate what it might enable you to do.

Check out the video:

What do you think of the concept?

I think we need to stop innovating anymore. Aren’t we contented with powerful smartphones already. Technology needs to improve, but still, it needs to have limits. Technology should make our life easier, but not so easy that you can simply lay down in bed and let technology do the work for you. If there will be flying cars in the future, I will still prefer the good old car with wheels (there’s enough accidents in the road, what more if the traffic spans in air, not mentioning polution). What we must concentrate on is how our current technology can be less damaging to the environment.

well….i know that this is still not real yet, but we have the technology (it can run on a 50mhz cpu with internet access…)

i think that if people start buying this then….we are reaching the end of the world in someway, slowly going to total human disconnection , no human touch what so ever
i carry my 1.4ghz 512ram windows phone and i feel like a shm**k , i had a computer 1.6 512mb a few years ago and im quite sure that the arm now is better than the pentium 4 back them, we have this amazing devices that instead of helping us create they are helping us to consume

for example at its time Palm was amazing, for business only, then windows mobile came out and it was amaaaazing….for enovation business research….. then ios came out and ever retard started buying it to waste his time on it even if he is out with his friend
