Another application that is represented on the Windows 8 Metro interface is the Windows Explorer app.

Clicking on the application takes you away from Metro right back to the regular Windows 8 Desktop.

As you can see, it basically takes you to an explorer window in the regular desktop.

Nice ribbon (sarcasm).

        I agree with you. I love the usefulness of the ribbon, but it looks very “unmetroish”. The ribbon should look like the Office 15 Metro Style ribbon. This would really help Windows 8 desktop be a little less jarring.
