If it is, then it looks just as expected. A Microsoft smartwatch has been the talk of the town for years now, what with Redmond wasting no time to jump into the wearables arena.
Last we heard, the device was set for official unveil in the coming weeks.
However, it appears that we just got an unofficial unveiling of sorts — the device possibly showed up on the US TV series “Agents of SHILD”, you know the comic book show from Marvel that takes place after the Avengers film.
This might be our first glimpse at the device ahead of its launch before the holiday season.
And here is some more talk on this, including some comments from regular Microsoft watchers Mary Jo Foley and Paul Thurrott. Looks pretty legit, including the wrist band form factor. Here is image taken from the video:
The video itself has been posted here, so you can take a look.
In any case, this is one sleek looking device, completely touch optimized and appears to come with all manners of fitness tracking capabilities to help the wearer keep track of their physical shape. Other rumored options include heartbeat tracker and blood glucose monitor.
Overall, however, the details are very vague, and Microsoft has kept everything a secret.
