Lenovo peeled back some layers about their new ThinkPad Tablet 2.

This is a Windows 8 Pro tablet first shown earlier this year.

It’ll have the following:

  • 3G and AT&T LTE models
  • an optional digitizer
  • keyboard
  • dock

It’ll be a full 1.3 pound x86 device with the standard 1366×768 Microsoft Windows 8 screen config.

It looks like a solid offering but like all these tablets, we’ll have to wait and see…

Launch date: October sometime.

Look for it to launch in October around the same time as Windows 8; pricing is yet to be announced.
