A total of four Windows Phone handsets have just been shown running the Lumia Denim update in a photo, signaling that the launch of the new firmware is imminent.
It is, in fact, rolling out to some devices as of this writing.
Unofficial reports pegged the Denim launch sometime in the fourth quarter of the year, with flagships and popular models getting the update early on in December, while the remaining members of the family getting refreshed in early 2015.
Nevertheless, details are still very scarce right now, with no confirmation of the devices that are in line to receive Lumia Denim first.
This photo, though, shows the new firmware running on four devices — namely, the Lumia 530, 635, 830 and the Icon. The latter model is obviously available at Verizon in the United States.
Take a look at the image below to see for yourself:
Obviously, the Lumia 830 already comes with Lumia Denim out of the box, but its presence in the photo shows that it probably is getting some new improvements.
However, there is no guarantee that the image is legit, so don’t take anything for granted, until we have some official confirmation from the parties involved. Microsoft, for example, is yet to detail this update in any tangible capacity.
But the photo is apparently taken with an iPhone, and you can even see the person in the reflection, meaning little chance of Photoshop editing here.
So if you own any of these four handsets mentioned above, chances are you’ll get busy soon.
