Now the updates are coming fast and furious with the Windows 8 development blog.

A new post is out called “Designing for PC’s that boot faster than ever before”.

In it, Microsoft talk about the challenges of the new improved boot up times that Windows 8 has on new hardware.

Ironically, now the boot up times are so fast, we won’t realistically have time to press our traditional F8, F2 and all the other keys we are used to  in order to get to the boot menu.

The post talks about the new steps that Microsoft have taken to address the problem with a more sophisticated and intelligent boot up management system.
