The Surface Pro 3 is about to hit retail on June 20, and Microsoft have prepared some very special extravaganzas to make sure that customers will be there to try out the new device. At launch.
Shows and concerts are planned at pretty much every store that will sell that deluxe slate.
This is what Microsoft said in a press release:
“To celebrate the arrival of the Surface Pro 3, all Microsoft retail stores in the U.S. and Canada will host launch day activities starting when stores open on Friday, June 20, including VIP white-glove pre-order pickup, giveaways, music, food and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to win dozens of giveaways and prizes, including a family vacation to Honolulu, Hawaii, for four.”
Additionally summer-themed activities and giveaways are to be featured at all stores.
Along with hosting these giveaways and contests, the launch party will also include concerts with a number of famous singers, artists and bands.
Not bad for a tablet that is aimed at professionals and power users.
