Microsoft is holding a special event next month to celebrate the launch of Windows 8.

They sent out an invite to a Windows 8 celebration for October 25 in New York City.

There’s no agenda, no details and no location.

There might be a showcase and display of lots of Microsoft hardware and software that day which (of course) is one day before Windows 8 is commercially available world wide.

Stay tuned.
