No one can say BUILD has not been an interesting Conference.
First it’s sold out with no one knowing what the agenda is and now it seems like there are some changes…
Basically, Mary Jo Foley was the first to notice that the schedule was mysteriously changed.
Basically on Monday, the Pre-Conference Sessions have been cancelled and removed from the schedule.
Here are the before and after shots
Here’s the official statement from Microsoft:
“In order to better focus on all the new content that will be covered at BUILD, we decided to optimize for the four main days of the event, which will include an enormous number of speakers and sessions. Registration is open on Monday but there will not be any formal sessions for attendees that day. We’re communicating the change now so people have the option to change their travel arrangements.”
I have no idea what to make of it but that’s the news. It is what it is…
