Microsoft release Windows 8 Touch Guidance document

Microsoft has recently released a “Windows 8 Touch Guidance” document that gives developers guidance on how they should think about touch in their applications.

The document establishes guidelines on content and interactive element placements for different grip positions – landscape and portrait, and positions – one hand, two hand, rested on surface or on stand.

It has a lot of useful information so if you’re designing or developing a Metro-style app for Windows 8, you need to check this out.
