The Windows Store site for Chinese residents debuted today.

The store only stocks Microsoft Office and the Microsoft Surface tablet but is a good start for a Chinese web sales presence.

The prices on there are as follows:

32 GB Surface version without the Touch Cover – RMB 3688.

32 GB Surface version with the Touch cover – RMB 4488.

64 GB Surface version with the cover – RMB 5288.

It’s a very good start and there are rumors that Microsoft will also have a physical presence in mainland China as well.
