There’s a great review of the new Microsoft Surface RT by ABC news.  It shows the “drop test” highlighting the tough new aluminum/magnesium composite the casing is made of.

The moniker “RT” signifies a feature-limited Windows 8 version designed to run on ARM processors. Windows RT is viewed by some as Microsoft’s attempt to do a Windows version of Apple’s locked-down iOS than anything else.

Of course, the Surface is the vanguard of Microsoft’s Windows 8 push into tablets.  Microsoft’s hope is that the surface gives its OEMs something to aim for.

With its remarkable keyboard, Metro-style interface and App Store, Microsoft wants to give Apple and the iPad 4 a run for their money.

Enjoy the review.
