Microsoft’s WorldWide Partner Conference (WPC 2011) officially kicks off today.

At some point during this event, we expect to hear a little more about Windows 8 and maybe even (long shot) get to download the Windows 8 CTP to play around with.

From some of the earlier reports though, we’re not so sure that a CTP version will be made available.

Cross your fingers.

The agenda is light for today at the conference.
