Office, the productivity suite, thank you very much. Microsoft have posted a new Surface ad to the official YouTube channel of the tablet, putting into spotlight two key features of the new slate.

This commercial is, obviously, part of the marketing push for the Surface 3, and considering the fact that the clip is only 15 seconds in length, there’s every chance that this ad is headed for television screens all across the globe.

It focuses on taking notes with the tablet.

Give the video a watch below:

Microsoft even calls the video “Surface 3 – Pen”, so you know what you’re getting in the video.

Basically a demonstration of just how important the pen (or stylus) is for the new device. The ad also makes clear the fact that the tablet comes with one year of Office 365 — so if you spend a substantial amount of time through the day taking notes, the Surface 3 deserves you look.

More so, considering the fact that the tablet is in line to receive the full upgrade to Windows 10 when the new operating system launches this summer.

That upgrade is sure to bring new capabilities to what is already a fine device.
