Verizon fans are in for another treat, it seems. The wireless carrier plans to launch new Windows Phone devices in the coming months, and prime among them seems to be the unannounced Lumia 929.
A press render of this handset has just popped up online — yes, at evleaks, where else.
Details are understandably scarce for the time being, but the image shows the Verizon Wireless logo. A little closer inspection shows the camera on the back of the smartphone, with an impressive looking 20 megapixel sensor.
This is a much improved camera that features a LED Flash, Carl Zeiss lens and PureView technology.
The handset is expected to feature a capacitive touchscreen display that while smaller than the upcoming Lumia 1520 phablet, is said to feature a full HD 1080p resolution.
The Lumia 929 will come with LTE support for Verizon’s 4G network, but that is all we know about the device. Fingers crossed, a complete specification sheet flies in soon.
Evleaks says that the Lumia 929 will be available on Verizon Wireless in two color options, black and white. More updates on the handset are expected in the coming weeks, so stay tuned if this smartphone has managed to grab your attention.
Nokia is expected to bring around several new devices before the end of the year, and the Lumia 929 is already shaping up to be sleek and powerful option for the Verizon user base.
