A few days back, Opera Software announced the availability of Opera Mini beta for Windows Phone as part of a test program, and now the mobile web browser is available for all.

The app is being showcased on the Windows Phone Store, where although it is still listed as a beta version, it is available for everyone that wants to take it for a spin — without the need to sign on the dotted line and all that.

This also means that the software is still in beta right now, so expect a few issues here and there if you do decide to take it for a spin on your Windows Phone handsets.

But it does offer all the features that made the browser popular, including those that are available on competing platforms like Android and iOS. For example, Speed Dial is there for fast access to favorite websites right form the home screen of the browser.

Same goes for Smart Page that provides updates from social sites on one screen.

You can also expect tabbed browsing, fast browsing, and secure navigation to go with data saving using special compression techniques. You can also save pages for later reading right form within Opera Mini.

In fact, Opera touts this as the fastest browser on Windows Phone.
