The next wave of Windows Phone 8.1 powered Lumia devices is almost upon us, and leaks are suggesting that more such devices are destined for arrival in the very near future.
Evleaks has just posted a release schedule for a trio of new Nokia phones.
And the document shows that three devices are incoming, sometime in the August to September timeframe. Essentially, a sales decision on the first of these devices is expected to be made in late July, while it is expected to occur for the other two in late August.
Meaning, actual launch dates will be around 3 or 4 weeks later.
The first of these is called the RM-1017, which many believe is the Lumia 530. The second Nokia device is the RM-984, which has emerged before as the Lumia 730. It was even spotted in a recent AdDuplex database with a 5-inch display that delivers a 720p resolution.
And finally, we have the Nokia RM-1028, which some suggest will launch as the Lumia 830 with a rumored 13 megapixels PureView camera on the back.
The interesting question is whether these new devices will come with the “Nokia by Microsoft” branding that some recent reports are suggesting. Microsoft seems keen to change the branding of newer products following the acquisition of the devices and services unit of the Finnish telecom titan.
