TheVerge is reporting that Samsung is preparing to launch a 10.1-inch Windows RT-powered ATIV Tab as part of the company’s Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 announcements.

The ATIV Tablet will allegedly measure just 8.9mm thick and weigh 570g.

It will also feature a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with a 5-megapixel rear camera and 1.9-megapixel forward facing camera.

In addition, like other items in Samsung’s ATIV lineup, the tablet will include a USB and uHDMI port.

Samsung is rumored to maybe introduce its ATIV Tablet at IFA 2012 this week.
