Samsung Series 9 laptop shows that PC innovation is strong

Samsung has released a new notebook called the Series 9.

The notebook, which goes on sale today, is giving the MacBook Air a run for its money.

It’s lighter, thinner, and svelter than Apple’s own wispy model: the Samsung Series 9 weighs 2.89 lbs., has a 13.3-inch screen, and is .64 inches thin. The 13-inch MacBook Air, by comparison, weighs 2.9 lbs. and is .68 inches high at its widest point (a svelter 11-inch version is also available).

CNET writes the Samsung Series 9 Notebook’s specs are “impressive”: “Windows 7 Home Premium, second-generation Intel Core i5-2537M CPU, 128GB SSD, 4GB DDR3 RAM, 1,366×768-pixel resolution display, and a weight of 2.89 pounds.

It’s just a reminder that even though Tablets are the rage nowadays, there’s always going to be demand for a good Windows laptop.

That is a really nice laptop. I like the SSD memory, and I hope that it will be a standard for laptops in the future. But I hope that the windows 8 laptops will become a little bit cheaper..
