When it comes endless runners, the mobile world already has a few stalwarts. Subway Surfers is one of them. One of the most popular running games on mobile devices out there is also available on the Windows Phone Store.

But only for handsets that pack at least 1GB of RAM.

However, if we go by this recent tweet from Microsoft’s Joe Belfiore this might change soon:

“On wanting more app updates… FB + Skype are coming. Lock screen still coming! 512MB SS .. coming. And a couple new apps too.”

Now obviously, he might have meant anything by SS here, and although he has not provided any further information on the matter, the tweet might stand for Subway Surfers, given that this is a game that is not available for 512MB Windows Phone smartphones.

More details should not be far away, if this pans out, so stay tuned for specifics. In the meantime, you can enjoy Subway Surfers if you have a Windows Phone device that packs more RAM inside.

Just point your browsers to this link here on the Windows Phone Store.
