As Microsoft told us they would be, the new Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 tablets are now available for pre-order with an expected ship date of October 21st.

You’ll be able to get the Surface 2 for $449 for the 32GB model and the 64GB version for $549.

The Surface Pro 2 on the other hand has a base price of $899 for the 64GB model with 4GB of RAM while the 128GB version is $999 and the 256GB model is $1,299.

The higher end Surface Pro 2 is the high-end 512GB version with 8GB of RAM for a steep $1,799. All models come with 200GB of SkyDrive storage for two years at no extra charge.

In addition, you can also get accessories from the Microsoft Store. Some of the accessories being sold are – the new Touch Cover at $119.99 and the new Type Cover at $129.99.

The new Power Cover, Docking Station, and Surface Music Kit will be available next year at soon to be disclosed prices.
