So I’m just hanging out on the computer and my AVG software pops up in the corner saying I should take a look at what AVG has protected me from ( or something to that effect).

Holy camoly.. check this out..

Over the last 30 days, 429,824 suspicious transactions were blocked and 4.3 million threats were protected against.

Now even if you want to dispute the toal accuracy of the numbers, that’s still crazy numbers.

The internet is dangerous with all the hackers and automated bots nipping at your PC’s heels.

Windows 8 is going to need to double up on all levels of security – OS, Network, Software, Hardware.

It does put into perspective the job that Microsoft has to do to keep PC’s safe.
