June 20 is here, folks, and by that count, so is Microsoft’s amazing new tablet. The Surface Pro 3 is now available for purchase if you reside in the company’s home ground.

Buyers in the USA can now purchase the Pro 3 at their favorite retail outlet.

Two versions of the Core i5 tablet are up for grabs — the 128GB storage and 4GB RAM model that is priced at $999, and the 256GB model that comes with a luxurious 8GB of RAM and retails for $1,299. Other than these changes, most other capabilities remain the same.

But that’s not all.

Microsoft is bringing the full enchilada this time around when it comes to hardware specifications. Everything from the entry level Core i3, to the mightiest of choices, Core i7 can be purchased.

The Core i3 variant, for example, comes with 4GB of RAM and just 64GB of storage, but retails at a very consumer friendly price of $799. While the top of the line model that is priced at $1,949 offers an i7 processor that is paired with 8GB of RAM and a very capacious 512GB of storage space.

However, the i3 and i7 models will only arrive at a later date.

All models come without the Type Cover 3, which will set you back another $129.99, but this is one accessory that comes recommended.

While pretty much all Microsoft Stores and Best Buy locations have the Surface Pro 3 available, the number of units vary. Just call to confirm whether the slate is in stock, before you head out to purchase.

And if you already are a proud Surface Pro 3 owner, then let it be known in the comments below.

  1. Great day for tablet fans and Microsoft! I can’t afford it right now, but I’m eager to see what people think about it. If the reviews are good, I will start saving up for one!

  2. Sounds like it was worth the wait from what I’ve heard. I hope it lives up to expectations. I’m gonna wait for the price to go down before I buy it.
