Toshiba just unveiled a new budget Ultrabook and this one is sub-$1,000.

It’s called the Satellite U845t.

Due in March, it’s a 14-inch, touch-enabled, has a 1,366 x 768 screen and it will be available for $800.

It weighs four pounds and is 0.8 inch thin. More specs, it has a Core i3 or Core i5 processor with up to 6GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive with 32GB of SSD memory.

Connections include HDMI, Ethernet and an SD card slot, along with one USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports.

Toshiba are finally getting deep into the Windows 8 game.
