So some good news.

DrivePop are having a sale this week only and are knocking off 20% off their unlimited cloud storage option.

You can see the review I did of the product here.

To recap:

DrivePop is an online cloud backup solution for PC’s or Macs that enables you to keep your precious files, artifacts and documents in the cloud. It works by taking copies of those files and storing them safely away from your PC or Mac so in the event of a hard drive failure or some other catastrophe, you’ll be able to retrieve them quickly.

The real twist or value this offer provides is to give you a lifetime license for one low initial payment.

You basically can take your time and back up your PC’s as many times as you want with as much data as you have and you only make that one initial payment.

So you can keep backing up unlimited amounts of data on your PC 10 years from now and it will cost you nothing extra.

Well, I got him to give us a 20% discount for this week on all lifetime plans.

The discount code is BURN-L4B3-SAIX and you can use it when you are making your purchase and it will apply the 20% discount before you pay.

So head on over to the DrivePop Lifetime Storage page and get your discount while the deal is available.

Once again, the discount code is BURN-L4B3-SAIX and you can use it when you are making your purchase and it will apply the 20% discount before you pay.

  1. Why get this when you have 200GB with SkyDrive?

    • Because what do you do when like me you have 3TB of data?

      • Your situation is highly unlikely than the rest of computer users. For many, 200GB is more than enough. I agree with Mike, this is an ad not a post. They should be listed on the side like all the other ads. Just because you have a personal relationship with the owner, this company should be treated like any other company in providing you revenue for an ad, not free advertising. Just like infomercials on TV, this should have a very noticeable indicator at the top saying this is an advertisement, not an article.

        • This is an ad but it’s up because you can get this deal this week. It’ll be down on Friday.

          Regarding the revenue, company etc…

Really? I mean, REALLY? So areyour bad reviews due to companies not paying you and your favorable reviews due to companies who ARE paying you? To be honest, this is really creepy. Your disclaimer has completely changed my mind about you and this website…..and not for the good.

          • Sorry you feel that way.

Actually the fact that this is an independent website actually (ironically) gives me more flexibility to say what I really feel.

I recommend all types of software and sometimes I get compensated and sometimes I dont. Because I have such flexibility, (as you have seen) I am one of the few tech websites that actually calls out large companies openly when there is massive BS.

Don’t be shocked that I actually make money here as well and am not spending all this time and paying writers to bring this to you purely from the goodness of my heart. 🙂

Regarding CloudPop, I have fully disclosed that I know Rob the owner and he is a paid sponsor on this site – and

Any time he has offers for readers of this site (like discounts) heck yeah I’ll promote them.

If that’s creepy to you, it is what it is.

  2. This is an ad, not a post.
Unlimited back up, forever, with on low payment. My Mother told me something about deals that sound to good to be true.
