If as a Windows Phone fan you were expecting much more than just the Lumia 930 and the two models of Lumia 630, well, prepare for some good news. There is some movement on this front.
With Windows Phone 8.1 about to go live in the very near future, many would have expected newer models from large companies like Samsung, HTC and more. Local and smaller vendors are launching plenty of handsets, but big, established companies are missing from action.
Luckily the Nokia division is stepping up to the party.
According to the ever reliable evleaks, Microsoft is gearing up to launch a few more smartphones in the coming months, and the codenames of these devices have been leaked.
Nokia Vela, Athena and Libra are primed for arrival before the end of the year.
Unfortunately, no more details are available about these devices, like whether they are smartphones at all, or phablets and tablets. But the good news is that at least three new models are being prepared.
This is, to go with, Tesla, Superman and McLaren — codenames of other upcoming Nokia devices. The first two are said to be midrange smartphones that will launch on AT&T and Verizon respectively, while the last one is a new flagship that is set to introduce the 3D Touch technology.
