So there is a nice press area in Building 92 where we get to set up hardware and write our lovely effusive stories saying how cool this all is..

I’m using the MacBook Pro and the Surface for MetroTwit and other functions.

I have a lot more to say about the Microsoft Surface and what I have and have not been able to use it for.

I can tell you that there is a HUGE disconnect between what techies are thinking about the Surface RT and what consumers feel.

From my anecdotal (very limited) observations, consumers are very curious about the Surface and are LOVING the detachable keyboard feature. Techies and jaded IT individuals seem a little more jaded and suspicious about the limitations of Windows RT.
