Today’s featured Windows 8.1 app is from Kdan Mobile, a leading mobile application developer.

Their company has developed an iPad, iPhone, and Mac-specific software application, Animation Desk, which focuses on providing professionals and amateurs an opportunity to create animations on the go.

The application is apparently very simple and intuitive to use and has been very popular among iOS users. The company has decided to expand and has released the Android and Windows 8 version recently to respond to demand from Android and Windows 8 tablet users.

The drawing interface provided by the app resembles the real working environment of a professional animator who completes each frame of an animation on a specially-designed desk, the animation desk.

The app provides an easy, friendly, and intuitive drawing environment so that everyone can enjoy creating their own animated works.
