Windows 8.1 App Watch: Big Business Deluxe

When you think of the Windows Store, there really are only a handful of game developers that can be considered big. Game Insight Global Limited is one such developer, and they have just launched their newest title, Big Business Deluxe.

This casual simulation game follows such hit titles like Airport City, Rule the Kingdom and, of course, the highly popular 2020: My Country. And they gameplay dynamics are very much the same.

You erect structures to create the city of your dreams — only this time you are building factories and producing goods to develop your thriving business empire. Casual gaming at its finest? Close enough.

A selection from the official description:

“Have you ever dreamed of becoming a business tycoon? Big Business Deluxe gives you a chance to turn this dream into reality! Build a modern metropolis, set up your own business and make millions right now! Of course, there is a bumpy road ahead. It’s easy to start your business; the real challenge is to make it profitable and successful. On your way to the top you will build factories, manufacture your products and learn the secrets of effective management to keep all your enterprises under control.”

Perhaps the best feature of this game, apart from the delightfully simple graphics, is that it does not require a permanent online Internet connection. You can play it anytime, anywhere.

This free game also supports, all versions of Windows 8, x86, x64 and ARM, and since this is a universal app, it works on Windows Phone too. If you have tried other titles in this series, and enjoyed them, then this is another fine addition, and well worth a download.

I can’t believe this is free. It really sounds like a complex and complete game, which means it’s a steal for it to be free. Thanks for making me aware of it. I definitely want to try this out.

You mentioned the word tycoon and it’s funny because this reminds me a lot of roller coaster tycoon, which was an awesome game. If they’re relatable at all with this being free, then this may be one of my favorite apps ever.
