There just aren’t as many time travel video games in the world, if you ask me. Chronology: Time Changes Everything aims to fix this, and arrives on the Windows Store with a unique concept.
This beautiful puzzle platformer has you using time travel to fix the present.
Two interesting characters are at your disposal — an elderly inventor, and his snail sidekick. Yes, you read that right. The old man, as you’d imagine, has the ability to time travel, while the snail has what it takes to stop it.
More below, right after the official description:
“In Chronology, you manipulate the past and the future, in order to fix the present. Play as the Old Inventor and his sidekick The Snail, and take advantage of their special abilities – travel back and forth in time, stop time, manipulate objects and solve puzzles.”
This free game is episodic in nature, in the sense that the first part can be played for free, while the second part is available as an in-app purchase. More episodes are on their way.
But what you do get is both challenging and fun.
The game throws jumping puzzles at you, along with a fair amount of logic ones. The characters and environments are all top notch, and the same can be said of the visual presentation. Support for all versions of Windows is on offer, though x86 and x46 versions have some system requirements.
