Pretty neat name for a pretty neat game. Fantasy Farms tasks you with growing a farm in a fantasy land, where orcs, dwarves, elves and other such creatures roam.
You build roads and a variety of buildings to generate resources, which can then be used to expand the farm further. Of course, plenty of quests are also available that can be complete, in what is a colorful and charming casual game.
Here’s the official description:
“Harvest your favorite crops, make goods, combine ingredients to create delicious foods. Build and open unique restaurants and businesses, shape roads, construct bridges and decorate your fantastical floating islands. Help locals achieve their quests and use an Air Balloon to send special orders to other “islanders!”
It is free to play, but in-app purchases are available for players that want to speed things up.
But unlike other such titles, this one offers the ability to turn disable these so that purchases cannot be made from within the app — takes a bold developer to bake include options like this in their games.
Social options are also baked in, allowing players to visit their friends and send them gifts using their Facebook login. This strategy game is not universal, however, it can be run on all modern versions of Windows, from x86, x64 to ARM.
