Considering just how strongly the Windows platform is used for education, it is a tad surprising we are yet to see some really killer educational apps on the Windows Store.

This one, however, is one of the very better ones available.

Plain name and simple user interface, aside, My Study Life is basically a planner that can be used by students, teachers and lecturers. Fill it up with details about tasks, classes and exams, and you get a customized view for your day when you fire up the application.

The official description:

“My Study Life is a planner for students, teachers and lecturers designed to make your study life easier by storing your classes, tasks (assignments, homework, revision) and exams in the cloud making your study life available wherever you are.

My Study Life isn’t just your average school planner, calendar, diary or todo list. Classes, tasks and exams are integrated to show not only the information for the class, task or exam but also related information such as the tasks due for a class.”

This highly rated free app is regularly updated with new improvements, but as it currently stands, it is a neat way to organize your studying progress. It also makes use of exclusive Windows 8 features like Live Tiles, notifications, and Snap Views.

There is also a sync feature built in, and though it acts up occasionally on automatic, force sync gets the job done. The app supports all versions of Windows 8 and above, including ARM based ones.
